Ashe Services for Aging Foundation, Inc.,

established in August 2005, is committed to improving and enhancing the health and well-being of the elderly and disabled citizens of Ashe County.  Specifically, the goal of the Foundation is to support the services and programs offered by Ashe Services for Aging.

 

Since 1977, Ashe Services for Aging has strived “to provide services and intergenerational activities, and opportunities to the elderly and disabled adults of Ashe County that enhance their dignity and help them maintain their independence at home.”

 

ASA’s goal is to strengthen the physical, mental, social, and emotional health and well being of our older citizens through a variety of programs and services including:

 

Home Delivered Meals

Congregate Meals

CAP/DA and CAP/C Programs

In-Home Aide Services

Intergenerational Day Care

Adult Day Health Care

Senior Center Activities

Information and Referral

Senior Housing

 

The functions of the Ashe Services for Aging Foundation are administered through a Board of Directors.  No paid staff are employed, and the resources of the Foundation are applied directly to its Mission.

To help sustain and expand services and programs offered by Ashe Services for Aging through advocacy and fundraising activities.


The Foundation will educate, cultivate, involve, and solicit support from the Ashe County community regarding the needs of our elderly and disabled citizens to assure continued and expanded access to vital services.


The Foundation will promote the wellness, respect, dignity, independence, humor, and safety of our elderly and disabled citizens.

Donor Opportunities


Ashe Services for Aging Foundation, Inc. offers donors the opportunity to make significant and qualitative differences in the lives of individuals and families with assurance of the prudent management of resources directly applied to the care of elderly and disabled citizens in Ashe County.  The donor is also assured maximum allowable tax benefit.  You can help accomplish the goals of the Foundation by providing a personal or corporate contribution, or by including the Foundation in your estate planning.
